I currently have a magellan roadmate 2200T.To get updated maps for this unit would cost 80.00.I have a coupon for a magellan 1340 for the amount of 99.00.
Is the magellan 1340 a good unit?

How Do I Install Europe Maps On My Garmin Nuvi Gps?

Is the map file available for free? Does it need to be unlocked somehow? my.garmin.com suggests I need to but it’s an incomprehensible process. Happy to pay but want it to be easy and want to avoid going to a store or sending the unit to garmin. Thanks in advance.
