Who Makes A Better Gps For Use In America (usa) Tom Tom Or Garmin?

Posted by: Chris - GPS Mania In: Garmin GPS

Garmin is the top of the line for a GPS however Tom Tom is not a bad choice either. It all depends on what you are looking for in a GPS and what your budget is.Tom Tom now has two models to choose from one is low end the other a little more high end (i.e.) One has more memory and more options all depends on what you need.

I prefer Garmin. However, I have never used a Tom Tom.
I think satisfaction level will depend on the features of each. I actually have 2 Garmins–one is a low end unit while my main unit has Bluetooth, plays MP3s and other nice features that my low end does not.

A lot of people say Garmin is better. I currently own a Garmin Nuvi and I love it. As compared to my friend’s TomTom who often leads us the wrong direction and takes forever to get a signal.
